We have often heard that “good” people go to Heaven and “bad” people go to Hell, and on the surface this may seem fair enough to us. Yet, over time, this fear can cause us to picture ourselves standing before an angry God, holding our breath while waiting for Him to utter one of two words: “Heaven” or “Hell”. But do we truly need to live our whole lives trying to be “good enough” to go to Heaven?

It is our sincere hope that as you encounter the kindness of God through Thy Kingdom Crumb you begin to see, maybe even for the first time, that the harsh God you may have heard about is not Who He is in reality. His greatest desire is that you encounter His unconditional, unchanging love for you and spend eternity with HIm. It is His passion that everyone be with Him in Heaven as well as spend their lives here on Earth experiencing His goodness in all facets of life. The joy and peace we seek each day are only possible when we know where we will spend eternity, and thankfully, we can know this today!  We can discover these tangible truths in His love letter to us, within His very words written to each of us…The Bible.

Have you ever wished you really understood why you have been placed on this Earth or understood how to live the most significant life possible?  Our lives take on deeper meaning when we realize Who created us and why He found it so important to place us here at such a specific time in the world. The Bible, which is His heartbeat written on pages with love, explains how we can have a personal relationship with Him and how we can be with Him in Heaven. 

Even though every one of us has sinned and our good deeds can’t erase these wrongs, God made a way for us to spend eternity with a perfect God in a perfect Heaven.  God made the hardest decision a loving Father could ever make for His children..He offered Himself in the form of His perfect Son, Jesus Christ, to take our place.  The penalty for sin is death, so Jesus lovingly decided to take on that penalty and die an excruciating death on a cross…all for us. This single greatest act of selfless love purchased a place for us in Heaven. Here is the surprise many are still discovering… This priceless gift of Heaven is absolutely FREE! All we need to do is turn away (this is what ‘repent’ means) from our sins, receive His forgiveness, and trust in Christ alone for our salvation (eternal life in Heaven with Him), accepting this free gift of Heaven!

The Bible explains this truth to us in Ephesians 2:8,9, “For it is by grace (God’s unmerited favor) you have been saved, through faith (believing without seeing) and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.”

You may be asking, “Can it really be that easy?” Yes!  We serve a loving God Who never meant for it to be hard to live with Him in Heaven. If you would like this free gift, we invite you to pray the following prayer with us.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died for my sins, and that You rose from the dead. I believe what it says in the Bible that Heaven is a free gift and cannot be earned by doing good works. I am a sinner and I want to turn away from my sins.  I ask You, Jesus, to forgive my sins and give me the free gift of Heaven and the abundant life that You have planned for me.  It is in Jesus Christ’s name I pray. Amen.”

When you sincerely pray this prayer the Bible says that the angels in Heaven rejoice over what you have just done and now received!

Your life will never be the same! You can now experience the joy that only comes from knowing Jesus! As a loving response to Who God is we can now live for Him and WITH Him! The good that we do now is in thanksgiving for His sacrifice for us.
